According to the latest statistics of the General Department of Customs, from the beginning of the year to July 15, the export group with the largest turnover in the country is computers, electronic products and components with US$36.32 billion, an increase 29.11% year-on-year.
Computers, electronic products and components alone account for 17.52% of the country's total export turnover.
Notably, computers, electronic products and components have superior turnover compared to the others.
For example, compared to the second-ranked product group as phones and components, the gap in turnover has reached US$6.75 billion (phones and components reached a turnover of US$29.57 billion).
In particular, after many years leading the country in export turnover, recently, phones and components have lost this position to the group of computers, electronic products and components.
As of 2023, computers, electronic products and components led the country in turnover with US$57.32 billion, while phones and components reached US$52.37 billion.
From the beginning of 2024 until now, the growth rate of computers, electronic products and components is higher than that of phones and components, so the gap between the two product groups is being widened.
Regarding export markets, both product groups have rich and diverse markets in all five continents, the largest markets are the United States, China, and EU.
