Awarding decision on recognition of Regina Miracle International Vietnam as an AEO

On 19th September 2018, Hai Phong Customs Department held a ceremony to announce the decision on recognition of Regina Miracle International Vietnam as an Authorized Economic Operator (AEO).

Previously, on 28th August 2018, the Director General of Vietnam Customs Nguyen Van Can signed Decision 2528/QD-TCHQ recognizing as an AEO in Customs field for Regina Miracle International Vietnam (located in Vietnam Singapore Industrial Park, Hai Phong (VSIP Hai Phong)).

The time limit for the application of mechanism as an AEO for Regina Miracle International Vietnam is 3 years.

Mr. Nguyen Kien Giang Deputy Director of Hai Phong Customs Department said that 9 of 20,000 enterprises engaged in import and export activities at the Department were recognized as AEOs in the Customs field per year.

According to Mr. Yiu Ka So-General Director of Regina Miracle International Vietnam Co, Ltd., the Company was established in 2014 at VSIP Hai Phong with total investment capital of US$ 760 million.

The company specializes in the production of women's underwear, sportswear, sports shoes for famous brands such as Victoria's Secret, Adidas, Under Armor. With long-term development strategy in Vietnam, the company is expanding the project of C plant in VSIP Hai Phong.

The current capacity of the Company is 85 million products and when the project is finished, the capacity will increase to 130 million export products per year, creating jobs for tens of thousands of laborers.

According to Post Clearance Audit Branch (Hai Phong Customs Department), the unit chairing the AOE program at Hai Phong Customs Department, since put into operation, Regina Miracle International Vietnam has implemented 25,000 Customs declarations with total import and export value of nearly US$ 1.8 billion, and it is one of the big enterprises in Hai Phong.
