Arrested a person transporting nearly 6,000 tablets of synthetic narcotics

VCN – A case of transporting nearly 6,000 tablets of synthetic narcotics and 10g of meth has been seized by Quang Tri Customs force in coordination with other competent forces.

At 5:30PM on 18/8, at the control station area of Lao Bao economic and trade zone (former B gate) in Luong Le village, Tan Hop commune, Huong Hoa district, Quang Tri province, Anti-Drug and Crime Prevention Division (Quang Tri Border Defense) coordinated with the special force of anti-drug and crimes prevention, the reconnaissance squad - the mobile training battalion, the Lao Bao International Border Guard Station (under the Quang Tri Border Defense force); Anti-Drug Enforcement Team (Quang Tri Customs Department); Huong Hoa Police; The Traffic Police of Road 9 under the Traffic Police Division of Quang Tri Province Police, to discover a person illegally storing and transporting narcotics.

The subject was Le Minh Tuan who was born in 1989, has a permanent residence and lives at: Quarter 8, Ward 5, Dong Ha city, Quang Tri province.

When conducting on-site inspections, the competent forces seized 5,800 tablets of synthetic narcotics, 10g meth.

At present, the Anti-Drug and Crime Prevention Division (Quang Tri Border Defenses force) has temporarily arrested Le Minh Tuan on criminal charges with further investigation in order to clarify the case.
