Appointing 2 new Deputy Directors of Risk Management Department

VCN - On August 17, 2023, Deputy General Director of General Department of Customs Hoang Viet Cuong chaired the Ceremony to announce decisions to appoint Ms. Vu Thi Phuong and Mr. Dang Van Duc as Deputy Directors of the Risk Management Department (General Department of Customs).

At the ceremony, the representative of the Department of Organization and Personnel (General Department of Customs) announced the decisions to appoint Ms. Vu Thi Phuong and mobilize and appoint Mr. Dang Van Duc, as Deputy Directors of the Risk Management Department.

Specifically, on August 14, 2023, Director General of Customs Nguyen Van Can signed Decision No. 1998/QD-TCHQ to appoint Ms. Vu Thi Phuong, Head of Criteria Management Department under the Department of Risk management, as Deputy Director of Risk Management Department since August 15, 2023.

On the same day, the Director General of Customs Nguyen Van Can signed Decision No. 1999/QD-TCHQ to appoint Mr. Dang Van Duc, the leader of the Drug Enforcement Team under the Hanoi Customs Department as Deputy Director of Risk Management Department since August 15, 2023.

Speaking at the ceremony, on behalf of the leaders of the General Department of Customs, Deputy Director General Hoang Viet Cuong congratulated the Department of Risk Management for new leaders as well as congratulated two new Deputy Directors: Vu Thi Phuong and Dang Van Duc.

Deputy Director General Hoang Viet Cuong acknowledged the efforts of the two new Deputy Directors during their working time at the Risk Management Department and the Hanoi Customs Department for their solid political qualities, their management ability to successfully complete the assigned task.

The Deputy Director General suggested that the two new Deputy Directors, in their new positions, require a broader vision, especially actual administration and management.

In addition to promoting their capacity, the new Deputy Directors should continue to improve their political, moral, lifestyle, and professional qualities; further strengthen the coordination relationship with units inside and outside the sector as well as coordinate with the business community to develop documents, mechanisms and policies on risk management, making this work more and more effective.

The two new Deputy Directors are asked to closely work with the leaders of the Risk Management Department, strengthen internal solidarity to build the unit to and successfully complete the tasks assigned in 2023 and following years.
