Maintain operations during lockdown period

An Giang Customs Department said the headquarters of Khanh Binh Border Gate Customs Branch is located in an area that has been locked down and implemented social distancing according to Directive 16/CT-TTg from July 5. After being locked down, the unit reported to the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of An Giang Customs Department and quickly implemented a response.

On July 10, through quick tracing of a F0 case who carried out export procedures for live fish at the road clearance area of Khanh Binh Border Gate Customs Branch, two customs officers were identified as F1 and 18 customs officers were F2. After going through Covid-19 testing, F1 and F2 cases are negative but F1 cases have been isolated.

In addition to checking documents via the electronic system, the physical inspection, supervision of goods and vehicles has been carried out smoothly.
