20kg of drugs seized by An Giang Customs

According AnGiang Customs Department, after haltingthe illegal transport of 10.9kg of drugs on November 26, expanding the investigation intothe case, Tinh Bien Customs Branch under An Giang Customs Department coordinated with the Police force to seize one more barrel containing 20kg of drugs.

This drug barrel was detected near ​​the checkpoint of Tinh Bien International Border Gate.

Thus, after the two seizures, An Giang Customs Department seized more than 30kg of drugs.

The quick test result showed that the drugs may be ketamine

Earlier at about 12.30am on November 26, customs officers of Tinh Bien Border Gate Customs Branch discovered a man moving from Cambodia to Vietnam and carrying a barrel, and requested him to stop for inspection.

As a result, the customs officers detected that this man had hidden 10.9kg of drugs inside the barrel.

This is the largest drug transportation case handled by An Giang Customs Department in the border area since the beginning of the year.
