In May, there were 127 enterprises doing customs procedures at Cao Bang Customs Department.

Import and export activities through areas managed by Cao Bang Customs Department in May took place at Ta Lung, Tra Linh, Soc Giang and Bac Kan Customs Branches.

In May (from April 16 to May 15), import-export turnover going through customs clearance at the Department reached over US$95.68 million, down 4% compared to the previous month.

The decrease is due to strong decline in imports and exports of many items. Specifically, export products saw sharp drop such as: pepper dropped by 100%, aquatic products by 23%, other goods by 83%. Meanwhile, imported goods also plunged, including: cars of all kinds down 75%, fabrics of all kinds down 251%, ores and other minerals down 89%...

Regarding budget collection results, in the month the entire Cao Bang Customs Department collected VND126.92 billion, down 6% compared to the previous month.

Overall, in the five months, Cao Bang Customs Department gained VND426.7 billion, reaching 68% of the yearly estimate assigned by the Ministry of Finance, down 6% year-on-year.
