Vietnam Customs proposes to the State Treasury and banks to work on the weekend

Earlier, the General Department of Vietnam Customs has requested subordinate units to work every day at key international ports, including Saturday and Sunday to 31st December 2016, in order to ensure smooth Customs clearance time 24 hours per day.
Therefore, the proposal for the State Treasury and commercial banks to work on the weekend is an important stage to support the State budget collection of businesses and help enterprises with quick Customs clearance.
This is one of the solutions that Customs has tried to facilitate enterprises to speed up Customs procedures at the end of the year.
At present, there are 31 commercial banks which signed coordination agreements with the General Department of Vietnam Customs in the collection of revenues in the country.

Along with this proposal, the General Department of Vietnam Customs has sent a list of important international ports which Customs officers work every day of the week. It includes: Hai Phong (the Customs Branch of Hai Phong port: Zone 1, Zone 2, Zone 3 and Dinh Vu); Quang Ninh (the Customs Branch of Hon Gai and Cai Lan); the Customs Branch of Da Nang; Khanh Hoa (the Customs Branch of the ports: Van Phong, Cam Ranh and Nha Trang); HCM City (the Customs Branch of the ports: Zone 1, Zone 2, Zone 3 and Zone 4); Vung Tau (the Customs Branch of the ports: Cat Lo, Cai, Phu My and Vung Tau); Ha Tinh (the Customs Branch of the ports: Vung Ang and Xuan Hai); the Customs Branch of Dung Quat-Quang Ngai; and the Customs Branch of Ky Ha-Quang Nam.
