The Customs processed procedures for 2,400 passengers and 3,438 pieces of checked baggage.
Van Don International Airport Customs continues to promote dissemination and warnings on the risk of outbreaks of Covid-19 to enhance the responsibility of each individual, prepares human resources, develops working plans, and carries out customs procedures for flights and passengers on entry and exit to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
The Customs coordinates with the authorities to strengthen information collection and strictly control key flights from countries with a high risk of transporting contraband and prohibited goods to promptly prevent, detect and handle offences.
On the other hand, Customs strengthens the screening of goods and luggage, promotes the efficiency of the customs surveillance camera system to promptly detect violations, actively coordinates with relevant forces at the airport to raise awareness, encourage organizations and individuals to denounce violations and not to support smuggling, commercial fraud, trade in prohibited goods, counterfeit goods and goods infringing intellectual property rights.
The leader of Cam Pha Port Customs Branch (Quang Ninh Customs Department) said that from the beginning of July, Van Don Airport Customs has welcomed two charter flights.
