Of which over 80% of rescue flights processed procedures to ensure safety amid the complicated development of the Covid-19 pandemic.
In September, Van Don Airport Customs handled procedures for flight VN5311 carrying 297 Vietnamese citizens from Japan. This is a pilot flight of the "7-day medical quarantine" program of the Ministry of Health for citizens who have received two full doses of Covid-19 vaccine.
All passengers on the flight must meet two conditions: receiving two full doses of Covid-19 vaccine (the last dose at least 14 days but not more than 12 months before entry), and have negative test results for SARS-CoV-2 (by RT-PCR/RT-LAMP method) within 72 hours before departure and certified by the competent authority of the host country according to official letter 6288 /BYT-MT dated August 4 of the Ministry of Health.
After entering Van Don International Airport, the passengers arrived at Novotel Ha Long Hotel (Quang Ninh) for 7-day concentrated medical quarantine.
In order to achieve the "dual goals", the working team strictly complies with the requirements on pandemic prevention and control of the health authorities, and regulations and instructions from the GDVC and local government on procedures and inspection, supervision for vehicles, passengers and luggage of passengers on exit or entry.
In addition, the working team has closely coordinated with competent forces to control passengers and their luggage, and worked with the representative of Van Don International Airport to carry out customs procedures in a quick manner, meeting the regulations on customs management.
