Implementing the digital transformation plan of the Customs sector, Thanh Hoa Customs Department has developed its own specific plan

Accordingly, Thanh Hoa Customs Department aims to promote digital transformation in customs operations in a comprehensive manner and consistency with digital transformation, to serve import-export businesses, ministries and sectors implementing National Single Window and ASEAN Single Window mechanisms, aiming to fulfill the goal that 100% of customs procedures are carried out online, in a paperless manner.By 2025, Thanh Hoa Customs will complete digital Customs.by implementing comprehensive digital transformation in the customs management through an IT system with a high degree of integration, openness, and conformity with international standards, meeting the need of online processing of all customs operations and customs procedures anytime, anywhereand on all devices, as well as using and exploiting information on the basis of applying the latest technological achievements of the 4th Industrial Revolution.

Thanh Hoa Customs will strive to complete the goals stated in the Digital Transformation Plan of the Customs sector for the 2021-2025 period and with an orientation to 2030.

Specifically, regarding digital transformation in the implementation of customs procedures, Thanh Hoa Customs Department is determined to participate in the overall redesign of the information technology system to meet the requirements of performing customs operations towards digital Customs and meet system information security requirements.

Customs procedures are carried out between Customs authorities and import-export enterprises in the digital (paperless) environment anytime, anywhere, all devices; customs operations are managed automatically on the digital environment, ensuring management of the entire import, export andtransit process of goods and vehicles.

In addition, Thanh Hoa Customs has also promoted digital transformation to serve import-export businesses consistent with digital transformation in professional work and implementation of the National Single Window and the ASEAN Single Window.

In the digital transformation plan, Thanh Hoa Customs Department has also targeted to complete Smart Customs by 2030; 100% of documents in customs dossiers for customs basis types will be converted into electronic data, moving towards digitization.

100% of key international ports and border gates are equipped with an automated system for cargo management and supervision, and the camera system for cargo and luggage supervision and other equipment in customs inspection and supervision.

All high-risk goods transported by containers subject to customs supervision are monitored by modern technical equipment and data is connected to the customs centralized processing center.

Furthermore,100% of land border gates launch a system to receive and process advanced information about import and export goods before vehicles carrying goods pass through the border.

100% of authorized economic operators and enterprises complying with the law, export processing enterprises, export processing and production enterprises connect and share production management data with Customs authorities.

Moreover, Thanh Hoa Customs will improve the efficiency of tax management, striving that 100% of import and export enterprises with tax debts are monitored and updated automatically to the electronic customs system.

100% of basic customs control documents are digitized.
