Striving to complete the connection of 61 administrative procedures to National Single Window

According to General Department of Vietnam Customs, from the begining of 2019, the department has strived to complete the deployment of connecting newly 61 administrative procedures on National Single Window (including 18 procedures transferring from 2018 and 43 procedures of 2019 in accordance with Decision No. 1254/QĐ-TTg of the Government).
At the same time, it has been preparing to exchange information of ASEAN customs declaration and phytosanitary certificate with ASEAN countries under the plan of ASEAN and preparing to exchange information of customs declarations and electronic C/O with Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and South Korea.
The General Department of Vietnam Customs continues to perform well the coordinating role in the implementation of the National Single Window, ASEAN Single Window and specialised inspection.
In particular, it has been focusing on coordinating, monitoring, supervising and urging the ministries and branches in the implementation; advising the 1899 Committee in managing the implementation of ministries and branches in deploying the National Single Window and ASEAN Single Window.
Another important content is to improve the legal basis for implementing the National Single Window and ASEAN Single Window; establishing monitoring mechanisms, reporting and independent evaluation, coordinating with the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) to develop and set up a supervision mechanism the implementation of tasks of ministries and branches under the programmes and plans of Government.
Regarding to the results of the implementation of National Single Window, up to now, 13 ministries and agencies have participated; 174 administrative procedures have been upload to the National Single Window with a total of administrative dossiers processing on the National Single Window was nearly 2.27 million sets of dossier of more than 30,700 participating enterprises.
In the first six months of 2019, the number of dossiers has been processed was nearly 482,000 sets of dossier of more than 4,300 businesses.
