Hanoi Customs partners with businesses to boost import-export activities
On November 12, the Hanoi Customs Department held a Business Dialogue Conference themed “Hanoi Customs: Connecting, Sharing, and Supporting Businesses in 2024.” Nearly 150 import-export enterprises under Hanoi Customs management area attended the event.
Deputy Director of Hanoi Customs, Hoang Quoc Quang, informed the business community that Hanoi Customs oversees customs management across five provinces and cities—Hanoi, Vinh Phuc, Phu Tho, Yen Bai, and Hoa Binh—through 12 sub-departments linked to 55 warehouses, centralized inspection sites, and four inland container depots (ICDs), including the My Dinh and Long Bien ICDs, which clear all types of goods like border customs offices.
“With a commitment to maintaining and strengthening a reliable partnership by effectively connecting through multiple information channels and establishing regular communication under a three-party mechanism—customs, export-import service providers, and import-export businesses—Hanoi Customs is dedicated to expanding its partnership model, enhancing communication channels, and implementing solutions that will benefit import-export businesses,” emphasized Deputy Director Hoang Quoc Quang.
Hanoi Customs continues to streamline administrative procedures, modernize customs processes, and create optimal conditions for customs formalities, supporting the production and business operations of the import-export community.
During the conference, representatives from the Customs Control and Supervision Division of Hanoi Customs presented solutions to build and strengthen the customs-business partnership. They also highlighted legal updates that businesses should note when completing customs procedures.
