Seizing 660 smuggled pigeons

Quang Ninh Customs Department informed that, at 4 AM on 30/9, at Dan Tien Pier (located in Village 2, Hai Tien Commune, Mong Cai City, Quang Ninh Province), the Integrated Control Station of Km15- Dan Tien Pier discovered Nguyen Van Ca (was born in 1981 and lives in Hai Tien commune, Mong Cai province) has committed act of slipping smuggled goods and transporting goods by motorbike. After that, he used a motorboat to transport goods cross river for domestic consumption. In there, competent force seized 290 pigeons.

On the same day, the Integrated Control Station of Km15-Dan Tien Pier continued to detect Vu Van Phuong, was born in 1973 (also lives in Hai Tien commune) while was transporting smuggled goods including 370 pigeons.

In two cases, the Integrated Control Station of Km15-Dan Tien Pier proposed Chairman of the Mong Cai City People's Committee to issue a decision for sanction administrative violations, confiscate and destroy exhibits.

In the third quarter of 2017, Quang Ninh Customs has detected, arrested 4 cases of illegal transportation of smuggled food; the value of the violated goods is over 122 million vnd.
