Quang Ninh: Less than 0.1% of declarations subject to specialized inspection in violations

According to the statistics from Quang Ninh Customs, the above declarations violates the time of submission of specialized inspection results; goods storage while awaiting for the completion of customs clearance; and import requirements.
Typically, in August, 2018, Cam Pha port Customs Branch (Quang Ninh Customs Department) detected an import declaration of three-phase electric motors, which was not eligible for import and had a goods value of VND 320 million. The Branch have made records and at the same time forced re-export of the above goods.
At the beginning of September, 2018, Quang Ninh Customs has processed 41,472 import and export declarations, including 21,387 import declarations and 20,085 export declarations. Of which, 7955 import and export declarations were subject to specialized inspection, accounting for 19.18% of total declarations.
Specifically, 7,641 import were subject to specialized inspection declarations including 3,064 declarations subject to quarantine inspection; 735 declarations subject to food safety inspection; 1,434 declarations subject to quality inspection; 1,204 declarations subject to specialized management; 294 declarations requiring licenses and 656 declarations requiring certificate of eligibility.

For export goods, there were 314 declarations subject to specialized inspection, including 100 declarations subject to food safety inspection; 94 declarations subject to specialized management and 24 declarations subject to quarantine inspection.
