Quang Ninh Customs has diverse support channels for enterprises

Activiely support enterprise

Quang Ninh Customs is innovating thinking and action in serving people and businesses from passive to active.

The unit has implemented activities to support and accompany the business community towards comprehensive innovative thinking and a diversified approach to new organisational models such as "Business Coffee” programme, "Forum Customs and Enterprises”, meeting with businesses by blocks and groups of businesses with the same type of import-export activities.

On the other hand, organising consultation conferences, the Customs - businesses forum to cooperate, act and develop together, seminars on road and sea field to promptly remove difficulties and problems, record suggestions and the proposals of people and businesses.

That is the spirit of positive, proactive, quality and efficient work of Quang Ninh Customs with the motto "Most Dedication - Fastest - Most Satisfied" of the business support groups.

As a result, there are hundreds of meetings each year at the business headquarters from leaders of Quang Ninh Customs Department to customs branch levels and they proactively signed the regulation on coordination with the Business Association of Quang Ninh province, maintaining the regime of providing periodic information every month.

In addition, Quang Ninh Customs is determined to reform the organisational structure and improve quality of human resources to establish operation staff with sufficient skills, qualifications, capacities and is dedicated to serving the people and enterprises of the Customs sector and Quang Ninh Customs.

The unit submitted to the Ministry of Finance, the General Department of Vietnam Customs for approval of strategic and long-term organisational plans, streamlining from 56 focal points to 47 units.

Over the past 10 years, the unit has reviewed and evaluated the entire staffs by job titles and position, especially the organisation of annual performance assessment exams by job position.

Easy access to policy

Cai Lan Vegetable Oil Co., Ltd. Is specialised in importing raw materials, equipment and spare parts to produce and trade vegetable oil and tallow products, as well as exporting vegetable cooking oil and byproducts from the vegetable oil production industry. On average, each month, the company registers for procedures at Quang Ninh Customs Department (Cam Pha port Customs Branch) for 60 declarations.

Talking to reporters of Customs News, representatives of Cai Lan Vegetable Oil Co., Ltd. said Quang Ninh Customs was proactive in developing the Customs-enterprise partnership to share and remove difficulties in business operation for firms in the area, as well as create favourable conditions for import and export goods.

Hon Gai Customs has concretised the Customs - Enterprise partnership by meeting, exchanging and signing cooperation agreements with businesses in the area. In addition, continuing to implement administrative reform solutions, promoting information technology in customs declaration and tax payment activities, as well as linking with specialised management authorities of related ministries and sectors.

At the same time, the customs branch has been creative in organising in-depth business dialogue by category or location to improve efficiency in sharing experiences, solving difficulties and supporting businesses to operate import and export goods.

Agreeing with the above opinion, a representative of the Northeastern Corporation said the seminars and training sessions organised and instructed by Quang Ninh Customs and Customs officials, meetings directly or by phone, even via chat software such as Zalo and Facebook have created a channel for businesses to easily access customs laws and policies, as well as promptly respond to problems.

With the support of the Customs authorities, enterprises have grasped the procedures and dossiers for the implementation of procedures, from that cargo clearance and the receipt of goods are smooth, especially for shipments with a short transportation time and short time for preparing dossiers.
