VCN – The General Department of Vietnam Customs (GDVC) has agreed with the proposal of the Vietnam National Coal-Mineral Industries Group on the pilot implementation of pre-authorized e-tax payment program with commercial banks authorized by the group for tax payment.

The Vietnam National Coal-Mineral Industries Group has proposed the Customs to support the Group in implementing the pre-authorized e-tax payment program.
Therefore, the GDVC has agreed with the group’s proposal to facilitate the group in tax payment.
Accordingly, when processing and issuing the number for the customs declaration form, the e-tax payment and customs clearance 24/7 portal will transfer the payable tax amount of the group to the authorized bank for tax payment.
Then, the authorized commercial bank will deduct from the account and send a notification to the Customs Portal for the Customs conduct customs clearance and release.
The GDVC decides the pilot implementation from October 10 to December 10. After the pilot period, the GDVC requests the Group to work with the authorized commercial bank to assess the implementation process and send to the GDVC.
The top country’s customs agency will base on the results of the pilot to decide the support for the group.
The GDVC also asks the Group to report problems (if any) during the implementation for timely support.
