Nghe An Customs has new Director

VCN – Director General of Vietnam Customs Nguyen Van Can signed Decision 3136/QĐ-TCHQ and appointed Chu Quang Hai – Deputy Director of Nghe An Customs Department to a new position as Director of Nghe An Customs Department from November 1.

On October 31, at the headquarters of Nghe An Customs Department, Deputy Director General of Vietnam Customs Nguyen Cong Binh chaired a ceremony to announce the decision appointing the position of Director and approved the title of Party Committee Secretary of Nghe An Customs Department for Chu Quang Hai. Also announced was the retirement of Chu Quang Luan, Director of Nghe An Customs Department from November 1.

At the ceremony, leaders of the Personnel and Organisation Department (General Department of Vietnam Customs) announced the decisions to Hai and Luan.

On behalf of the General Department of Customs, Deputy Director General Nguyen Cong Binh noted and highly appreciated the work of Luan.

In the process of working, Luan has experienced many positions from Deputy Manager of Nam Can International Border Gate Customs Branch, Director of Office, Deputy Director of Nghe An Customs Department. With nearly 40 years of working in Customs, Luan always fulfilled his tasks and made contributions to the development of the Customs sector and Nghe An Customs Department in particular, Deputy General Director Nguyen Cong Binh emphasised.

Deputy DirectorGeneral Nguyen Cong Binh also said the appointment procedures were implemented in accordance with regulations. In the process of implementing, Hai received the credibility and support of leaders at all levels, especially the leadership team and officials of Nghe An Customs Department.

Regarding tasks in the future, Binh asked Hai to continue inheriting, promoting the traditions and achievements on the working aspects of the unit, uniting with the party committee of Nghe An Customs Department leaders and other leaders to direct the unit to fulfill its tasks.

Speaking at the ceremony, Luan expressed his thanks for the concern of leaders, giving direction and facilitating leaders at all levels, especially the leaders of the General Department of Vietnam Customs, Nghe An Provincial People's Committee to Nghe An Customs Department and individuals to successfully complete tasks.

Also at the ceremony, Nguyen Nam Dinh, Party Committee Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee gave the decision approving the title of Party Committee Secretary of Nghe An Customs Department to Hai.
