The contest is part of the implementation of Decision No. 319/QĐ-TTg, dated March 29, 2023, approved by the Prime Minister to promote the fight against counterfeit goods and enhance consumer protection in e-commerce until 2025. It also aligns with Decision No. 1907/QĐ-TTg, dated November 23, 2020, which approved the project to raise awareness and disseminate knowledge about cybersecurity from 2021 to 2025. The contest aims to foster a profound shift in awareness, encouraging individuals, businesses, and organizations to comply with the Party’s guidelines and the State’s policies and laws on combating counterfeit goods and protecting consumers. By improving the effectiveness of consumer protection in e-commerce activities, the contest hopes to build trust among consumers engaging in online transactions, thus contributing to the sustainable development of e-commerce in Vietnam.
It also seeks to raise public awareness, responsibility, and cybersecurity skills through various media channels. By equipping citizens with knowledge and skills to identify and prevent online fraud, the contest aims to reduce risks and enhance online safety.
