New Deputy Chief of Office of National Steering Committee 389 appointed

VCN - Mr. Nguyen Minh Tuan, Head of Online Customs Supervision Department (Anti-Smuggling and Investigation Department, General Department of Vietnam Customs) has been appointed as Deputy Director of the Anti-Smuggling and Investigation Department and was seconded to hold the position of Deputy Chief of Office, Standing Office of the National Steering Committee 389.

On August 22, at the headquarters of the General Department of Vietnam Customs (GDVC), Deputy Director General of Vietnam Customs Luu Manh Tuong chaired the ceremony to announce and hand over the appointment decision to Nguyen Minh Tuan.

At the ceremony, the representative of the Personnel and Organization Department (GDVC) announced the relevant decisions on the appointment of officers and the secondment of civil servants.

Accordingly, on July 29, 2022, the Director General of Vietnam Customs signed Decision 1645/QD-TCHQ on the appointment of Nguyen Minh Tuan, Head of Online Customs Supervision Department, to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Anti-Smuggling and Investigation Department. The decision takes effect from the date of signing.

On the same day, the Director General of Vietnam Customs signed Decision 1646/QD-TCHQ to send Nguyen Minh Tuan to the Standing Office of the National Steering Committee against smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods (Standing Office of the National Steering Committee 389) to accept the job from August 1, 2022.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Director General Luu Manh Tuong congratulated Nguyen Minh Tuan on his appointment.

The Deputy Director General said the new Deputy Director of the Anti-Smuggling and Investigation Department received basic training and has many years of working at Ministry of Finance and GDVC. He always completed assigned tasks well.

Regarding the performance in the future, the Deputy Director General requested Nguyen Minh Tuan continue to promote his capacity, qualifications and experience, constantly study to improve his qualifications and unite with the collectives of leaders of Anti-smuggling and Investigation Department team to successfully complete their assigned tasks.

When he was seconded to work at the Standing Office of the National Steering Committee 389, it was an environment with new fields, so Nguyen Minh Tuan needed to constantly improve and learn to perform his duties.

Also on August 22, at the Standing Office of the National Steering Committee 389, a ceremony was held to announce the decision to receive and appoint Nguyen Minh Tuan.

At the ceremony, the representative of the Standing Office of the National Steering Committee 389 announced Decision 56/QD-BCD389 dated August 17, 2022 of the Director of National Steering Committee 389 on the reception of Nguyen Minh Tuan, Deputy Director of the Anti-Smuggling and Investigation Department (GDVC) came to work and held the position of Deputy Chief of Office, Standing Office of the National Steering Committee 389, from August 1, 2022.

At the ceremony, Chief of Staff, Standing Office of the 389 National Steering Committee Le Thanh Hai suggested Nguyen Minh Tuan soon begin to perform his assigned duties and responsibilities.

Speaking at the ceremony, Tuan sincerely thanked the trust of the leaders of the GDVC, leaders of the National Steering Committees 389, and expressed his determination to constantly strive to accomplish tasks.
