Nearly 94% of visits to Online Customs declaration portal are banks

VCN – Currently, the visits to Online Customs declaration portal (address: httpstkhqdt.customs.gov.vn) are done by bank systems, account for the largest number of visits from organizations that have the right to access and exploit electronic customs declarations.

Regarding the result of the deployment Online Customs declaration Portal under Decision No.33/2016/QĐ-TTg, representative of Customs IT and Statistics Department (General Department of Vietnam Customs) said that, since 1/3/2017 till now, Customs authorities has granted 1,165 new user accounts for related organizations, including 1,059 user accounts for bank groups, 57 accounts for agency granting C/O, and 49 accounts for State management authorities.

Additionally, Market Management Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade) registered 129 phone numbers for searching via texting method. Besides that, Customs authorities recovered 10 accounts as requirements of some banks.

Until now, 80,619 visits for searching Customs declaration, including 75,691 visits that are done by banks (equivalent to nearly 94%), 4,888 visits are done by organization granting C/O, 41 visits are done by Market Management Department.

According to the General Department of Vietnam Customs, the system is operating stably and the supportive work is carried out in a timely manner.

Represented by the Customs IT and Statistics Department, the use of e-customs declaration information will actively contribute to the following contents: reducing paperwork, reducing time, reducing implementation costs, administrative procedures in import and export, information sharing among agencies, management organizations, and specialized inspections and customs offices in line with the objectives set in Resolution 19 of the Government.

Through the Customs Information Portal, relevant agencies can easily receive electronic declaration information by: using the account provided by the General Department of Customs visit http://tkhqdt.customs.gov.vn to look up information; or in the form of a message provided by the General Department of Vietnam Customs via phone number: 0869600633 (this case applies only to inspection agencies, including: Taxation, Customs, Market Management, Police, Border Guards, Coast Guard and other units and individuals having the competence to inspect according to law provisions against organizations and individuals engaged in activities of import, export and circulation of goods on the market).
