Requesting Ministry of Health to correct problems relating to the procedure for import cosmetic proclamation
Customs IT and Statistics Department has issued Official Letter No. 819/CNTT-SW dated September 7, 2022, sent to the Information Technology Department (Ministry of Health) |
Recently, the Government Electronic Newspaper (baochinhphu.vn) published an article, "Why is the procedure for imported cosmetics proclamation still slow"?
Regarding the above issue, a representative of the Customs IT and Statistics Department said that, in the past, the Support Division of the General Department of Vietnam Customs had received complaints from many businesses about problems related to the implementation of procedures for issuing some import cosmetic product proclamation.
The Customs IT and Statistics Department has reviewed and evaluated the common errors recorded by the Support Division of the General Department of Vietnam Customs (enterprises cannot attach documents, enterprises do not receive other dispatches from the Ministry of Health after paying the fee) and found that the cause was a system error of the Ministry of Health.
Therefore, the Customs IT and Statistics Department has issued Official Letter No. 819/CNTT-SW dated September 7, 2022, sent to the Information Technology Department (Ministry of Health) requesting to re-check the Ministry's system and fix problems, confirmed in the document to the Customs IT and Statistics Department so that the Support Division of the General Department of Vietnam Customs has a basis to answer enterprises' problems.
