VCN - On July 28, the border market pair (sub-border gate pair) of Na Hinh, Lang Son (Vietnam)- Keo Ai, Guangxi (China) has been officially resumed customs clearance after more than three years of temporary suspension due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The ceremony to resume customs clearance activities at Na Hinh- Keo Ai sub-border gate pair.

The Na Hinh- Keo Ai sub-border gate pair is a trade channel between Van Lang district, Lang Son province, Vietnam with the market of Bang Tuong, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of China. Over the past time of implementing measures to prevent the Covid-19 pandemic, the two sides have temporarily suspended customs clearance of goods across this sub-border gate pair.

On July 26, representatives of the government, the Management Board of the Dong Dang - Lang Son border gate economic zone, and the enforcement forces of the two sides held a ceremony to resume customs clearance at the Na Hinh-Keo Ai sub-border gate pair.

This is the result of continuous discussion and work between the enforcement agencies of Lang Son province and the local agencies of Guangxi, China.

After the ceremony, 11 trucks of cassava flour were cleared for export to China across the sub-border gate pair.

The representative of Tan Thanh Customs Branch (Lang Son Customs Department) said that the resumption of import-export activities at border gates, especially pairs of sub-border gates, will contribute to facilitating enterprises to import and export Vietnamese agricultural products to the Chinese market. Currently, the resumption of customs clearance at the sub-border gate has increased the number of border gates operating in Lang Son province to six border gates.
