Mong Cai Customs completes clearance procedures for exporting 1.5 million gauze masks

Specifically, three shipments of exported medical equipment include: 875,000 gauze masks and 500 items of protective clothing for the Consulate General of China in HCM City; 125,000 gauze masks of Bac Viet Company – Mong Cai province and 500,000 gauze masks of Express Company exporting through Bac Luan 2 bridge, Mong Cai city, Quang Ninh province (delivery and receive goods at dotted lines).

Also, on February 10, according to enterprises that usually import and export goods, there are no goods imported or exported through Bac Luan 2.

The reason is that Tan Dai Duong Joint Stock Company has not been prepared under the delivery plan approved by Mong Cai City and the province such as not having hired a Vietnamese driver to China; isolation zone for workers at the inspection site has not been built and space for Vietnamese drivers to isolate at the border gate is not rented.

Currently, Mong Cai Customs Branch and Mong Cai city authorities have requested Tan Dai Duong Company to fully prepare conditions in order to ensure safety for workers and drivers in accordance with the approved plan.
