Mong Cai Customs cooperates to seize more than 5,000 bottles of e-liquid

On June 12, in the area in front of house 148, Mac Dinh Chi Street, Ward 1, Ka Long Ward, Mong Cai City, Quang Ninh Province, Market Surveillance Team No. 4, Quang Ninh Market Surveillance Department, Economic Crime Investigation Police Team, Mong Cai City Police, and Customs Enforcement Team, Mong Cai Customs Branch, while performing duty, discovered a man gathering goods and acting suspiciously.

Conducting an administrative inspection of 7 packages, the inspection team discovered 5,390 bottles of e-liquid of unknown origin, with an estimated value of over VND50 million.

At the scene, Mr. P.D.D, born in 1992, residing in Ward 2, Hai Hoa Ward, Mong Cai City, Quang Ninh Province, admitted to purchasing all of the goods above from the floating market and was preparing to send them for sale through an express delivery unit in Mong Cai City.

The case is being coordinated by Market Surveillance Team No. 4 with the competent forces to record and submit to the competent authority for handling as prescribed.
