Lang Son: More than 29,000 vehicles declared online on the Digital Border Gate Platform
From February 21 to May 18, information of all vehicles carrying imports and exports has been declared online and processed on the Digital Border Gate Platform before entering the border gate.
Accordingly, more than 29,000 vehicles through Huu Nghi international border gate and Tan Thanh border gate have gone through online declarations on the digital border gate platform, said Dong Dang - Lang Son Economic Zone Management Board.
After the relevant units fixed and upgraded the software, the Digital Gate Platform has run stably.
Most of the businesses are already familiar with the online declaration. Currently, businesses only take 2 - 5 minutes to complete the declaration of information about import and export goods.

At the meeting, Standing Vice Chairman of Lang Son Provincial People's Committee Duong Xuan Huyen said, after the period of implementation of the Digital Border Gate Platform, it has brought great benefits to businesses and authorities.
The declaration on the Digital Border Gate Platform not only meets the requirements of management, reduces the time and workload of the management agencies at the border gate, but also helps businesses reduce travel time and costs.
In particular, the digital border gate platform has contributed to minimizing crowds, reducing the risk of Covid-19 infection, thereby maintaining a safe green area at the border gate area.
However, Mr. Duong Xuan Huyen also pointed out shortcomings such as the technical infrastructure at the border gate area does not meet requirements, thus the implementation of the digital border gate platform has made mistakes and had problems.
Therefore, in order for the effective implementation of the Digital Border Gate Platform at Huu Nghi International Border Gate and Tan Thanh Border Gate in the near future, Mr. Duong Xuan Huyen said that all levels, agencies and units in the province Lang Son needs to continue to strengthen communication to the business community about the benefits of using the Digital Border Gate Platform and strengthen coordination work.

Accordingly, the Department of Information and Communications of Lang Son province should actively work with VNPT Lang Son to continue to adjust and perfect the software in a more convenient way, meeting the set goals.
In particular, relevant units are urgently working together to solve and overcome technical problems.
Furthermore, the Department of Information and Communications of Lang Son province should work with relevant agencies to report the performance of the pilot of the Digital Border Gate Platform at the two border gates above to the Provincial People's Committee. This is the basis for officially launching the Digital Border Gate Platform at Huu Nghi international border gate and Tan Thanh border gate, and launching the platform at other border gates in the province.
