According to Ho Chi Minh City Department of Customs, as of April 25, there were 245 enterprises violating the customs management policy for imported goods, which can be brought to storage while waiting for specialised inspection results. Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department has announced a halt of permission for these enterprises to bring goods to storage.
Among them, 236 enterprises are not allowed to bring goods for preservation because of a violation of customs management policy for goods that are allowed to be brought to storage while waiting for specialised inspection results (30 days due is over, but these enterprises have not yet submitted specialised inspection results).
Nine enterprises, which have supplemented the overdue specialised inspection results, are sanctioned for administrative violations and are not allowed to take the goods for preservation within six months from the date of the issuance of the sanctioning decision.
