HCM City Customs seizes in custody two imported containers of Chinese toys

According to the Customs Enforcement Team - HCM City Customs Department, the unit has cooperated with the Saigon Port Area 1 Customs Branch to inspect and detect two containers of goods imported from China, filled with kids toys and declaring incorrectly the name of goods, codes and trademarks.

This shipment was opened for imported declaration by N.Đ Import Export Trading Investment Co., Ltd. (Ho Chi Minh City). According to the declaration, the imported goods were toys of all kinds.

Through conducting a physical inspection, Customs authorities found the goods in containers were kids toys, children's bikes, etc.

Specifically, in the shipment, there were more than 930 children's bikes, size 60x45x30cm, YOUMI brand and brand new 100%; 300 units of three-wheel plastic trolleys, size 45x35x25cm, no brand, model: K-006, brand new 100%; more than 150 plastic motorcycles, using battery, with many large sizes.

80 plastic cars, size 105x57x29cm, model MG-868, no brand, use battery (6-12V); 600 units of three-wheels plastic trolley, size 45x35x25cm, no brand, model: S-PU01; 380 units of plastic tricycle, size 40x35x20cm, brand BULULOOU, model: 616, brand new 100%.

According to the Customs Enforcement Team, regarding the above case, an enterprise that makes a false declaration of goods names, codes, and trademarks to evade tax. The unit is continuing to verify and clarify./.
