HCM City Customs: Increase revenue collection by over VND80 billion from price consultation and post-clearance audit

According to HCM City Customs Department, in the first three months of 2022, customs units at the border gate and outside the border gate have carried out price consultation and collected more than VND58 billion for State revenue; and tax assessment of VND24 billion from post-clearance audit.
Besides that, through specialized inspections, HCM City Customs Department has recommended collecting over VND8 billion.
From the beginning of 2022 to March 31, 2022, the revenue collection of the Department achieved VND32,721.9 billion, reaching 28.1% of ordinance estimates (about VND116,500 billion); reaching 27.4% of the striving target (about VND119,500 billion), an increase of 10.8% (equivalent to an absolute increase of VND3,190 billion) over the same period in 2021.
From the beginning of 2022, HCM City Customs Department has promulgated the business community program and the Department has committed to being a trustworthy partner, joining hands in economic recovery in 2022 to create favorable conditions to raise revenue.
At the same time, allocating estimates of state budget revenue for each unit; implementing solutions to implement Directive 439/CT-TCHQ of the Director General of Vietnam Customs on synchronously and drastically implementing solutions to facilitate trade, improve the effectiveness of state management, and fight against revenue loss in implementing revenue collection task in 2022.
