Currently, Hai Phong Customs Department is running three mobile container scanners at Lach Huyen, Tan Vu and Nam Hai Dinh Vu ports and one fixed scanner system at the Import and Export Cargo Inspection Center by container scanners.
The addition of the two mobile container scanners will contribute to improving management efficiency, creating more favorable conditions for the business community in the process of customs clearance, shortening customs clearance time, improving the legal compliance of enterprises, preventing and detecting violations of customs laws in a timely fashion, meeting the requirements of management and fighting smuggling and trade fraud of the customs authority.
In addition, in order for the screening work to meet the actual situation, to facilitate and reduce costs for enterprises, Hai Phong Customs Department arranged the screening areas as follows:
The mobile scanner system at Tan Vu port performs screening for consignments stored at Tan Vu port.
The mobile scanner system at Nam Hai Dinh Vu port performs screening for consignments stored at Nam Hai Dinh Vu, Nam Dinh Vu, and Mipec ports (MPC Port).
The mobile scanner system located at Lach Huyen port performs screening for consignments stored at Lach Huyen port.
The mobile scanner system at Vip Green port performs screening for consignments stored at Vip Green port.
The mobile scanner system at Dinh Vu port performs screening for consignments stored at Dinh Vu port, PTSC Dinh Vu, Tan Cang 189.
