Hai Phong Customs processes about 200,000 declarations in July

In July, the department processed 194,412 declarations, up 0.87% and down 4.82% compared with a year ago, including 100,492 import declarations and 93,929 export declarations.
The Investment and Processing Customs Branch processed the largest number of declarations with 44,797 declarations and 1st Zone Hai Phong Seaport processed the lowest number of declarations with 4,822.
In the first seven months of the year, Hai Phong Customs Department processed about 1.3 million declarations. Of which, 204,255 declarations and 111,108 declarations were handled in June and February, respectively.
Total trade in goods in the department in July saw a year-on-year increase of 13.6% to US$10.15 billion.
Export turnover increased 13.1% to US$5.08 billion and taxable export turnover rose by 23.2%.
Import turnover went up 14% to US$5.07 billion and taxable export turnover rose by 19.7% to US$2.11 billion compared with 2021.
In seven months, the total trade in goods across Hai Phong Customs Department hit about US$68 billion. Of which the turnover in April, June and July reached over US$10 billion.
