Hai Phong earns revenue of over VND43,000 billion

The local customs department’s revenue increased by 16.03% year-on-year, meeting 68.05% of the estimate to VND63,630 billion and 64.58% of the desired target to VND67.050 billion assigned by the GDVC.
The city’s customs department contributed over 17% of total Customs sector's revenue and is the second largest contributor of 35 local customs departments across the country.
In the first six months of the year, the Customs Branches processed more than 1.1 million customs declarations of 22,513 enterprises (up 7.04% over the same period in 2021).
Total turnover of import and export goods at Hai Phong Customs rose by 17.3% compared with a year ago to US$57.5 billion.
The total volume of goods imported and exported across Hai Phong Port reached 32.87 million tons, of which imported goods were 17.2 million tons (up 3.32% compared to 2021); exported goods were 15.6 million tons (up about 8.21% compared to 2021).
In addition, Hai Phong Customs Department handled procedures for 4,893 vessels, 91,695 crew members, 62 international flights and 7,057 passengers on entry and exit at Cat Bi International Airport.
