Hai Phong Customs collects more than VND15,000 billion

Particularly, Hai Phong area collected VND13,462 billion, achieving 27.2% compared to assigned target of Ministry of Finance (VND49,500 billion), reaching 26.5% compared to assigned target of General Department of Vietnam Customs (VND50,800 billion); reaching 25.4% of the target assigned by People’s Committee of Hai Phong City (VND53,000 billion); and increasing by 11.4% over the same period in 2020.
In March, total revenue collection of Hai Phong Customs Department reached VND5,878 billion.
In terms of import-export turnover, in March, the whole customs achieved $7.452 billion; increasing 5.8% over the same period in 2020.
In particular, exports reached $3.481 billion, increasing by 7.9% over the same period in 2020; the turnover with tax achieved $22.35 million, increasing by 84.1%.
The import turnover reached $3.971 billion, increasing by 4.1% over the same period in 2020; the turnover with tax achieved $1.633 billion, increasing by 4.5%.
Import turnover with tax is concentrated on key products such as: automobiles reached $122.91 million, increasing by 29.5%; automobile components and spare parts reached $38.96 million, increasing by 59.5%; motorbike components and spare parts reached $1.79 million, an increase of 3.1%; petrol and oil reached $52.82 million, increasing by 24.9%; cosmetics reached $0.45 million, an increase of 155.7%.
Notably, in March, the items with a large decrease in turnover and taxes were: iron and steel reached $202.99 million, decreasing by 15.3%; machinery and equipment reached $324.02 million, reducing by 3.1%.
