Ha Nam Ninh Customs accompanies 200 businesses in Ha Nam province

VCN - To better understand the difficulties, problems, thoughts, and wishes and accompany businesses to find solutions to help them quickly overcome difficulties and reach long-term and sustainable development goals, Ha Nam Ninh Customs Department held a Customs-Business Dialogue Conference on the afternoon of April 12, 2022 with 200 businesses engaged in import and export activities in Ha Nam province.

The conference was attended by Vice Chairman of Ha Nam Provincial People's Committee Tran Xuan Duong; representatives of departments and units and 200 import and export businesses in Ha Nam province.

Speaking at the conference, Mr. Pham Hong Thanh, Director of Ha Nam Ninh Customs Department, said the Covid-19 pandemic has disrupted many production and business activities of enterprises, made many enterprises suspend or close down due to the disruption of the supply chain, increasing transportation costs, cost of production materials, warehousing costs, logistics costs and labor shortages, etc.

Through this conference, Ha Nam Ninh Customs wants businesses to understand and comply with new regulations, minimize errors that will affect their production and business processes.

In particular, this is an opportunity for Ha Nam Ninh Customs and the business community to exchange and solve problems, agree on understanding and implementing a number of issues between the management agency and the business community.

According to Mr. Pham Hong Thanh, the Customs sector has been actively building a digital and smart customs model, which is identified as an important content in the Customs development strategy for the 2021- 2030 period.

Therefore, in order to achieve the above goal, Ha Nam Ninh Customs is looking forward to receiving the support and help of Ha Nam Provincial People's Committee, departments, agencies and especially the business community in Ha Nam.

Vice Chairman of Ha Nam People's Committee Mr. Tran Xuan Duong said the dialogue is an important information exchange channel for Ha Nam Ninh Customs and the business community. This is also an opportunity for Customs to promote information connection in order to attract more FDI enterprises to invest in Ha Nam province, creating conditions for import and export activities, contributing to increasing the state budget revenue of Ha Nam province.

At the conference, businesses raised many problems related to the final settlement report; inventory data exported from accounting software; goods re-imported for repair and re-export; change of models and labels for re-imported goods at the request of customers; tax payment for imported raw materials for processing or production for export and tax exemption for imported raw materials for processing under outsourcing contracts with domestic enterprises.

The representative of Ha Nam Ninh Customs Department answered and provided specific instructions.
