Emulation cluster No.2 of the Customs Sector implements emulation movement in 2023

VCN – On March 13, five-member customs departments of Emulation cluster No.2 of the Customs Sector, including Lang Son, Cao Bang, Ha Giang, Dien Bien and Lao Cai, held a conference on the implementation of Decision No. 105/QD-BTC dated February 3, 2023, of the Minister of Finance on the establishment of emulation clusters of units under the Ministry of Finance, and reward units of the Ministry of Finance.

The conference was attended by representatives of leaders and officers of the five departments.

As the department chairing and organizing the first conference of Emulation cluster No.2, Lang Son Customs Department has developed plans and programs and implemented Decision No. 105/QD-BTC, directions of the Ministry of Finance and the General Department of Vietnam Customs on the establishment and operation of the Emulation Cluster from March 2023.

At the conference, five-member customs departments agreed to vote Lang Son Customs Department as the head of the Cluster and the Lao Cai Customs Department as the Deputy head of the Cluster.

The General Department of Vietnam Customs, representatives of five Customs departments, agreed on the plan to divide the branch-level emulation cluster, including Branch-level emulation cluster No. 1 has 13 customs branches under five departments; Branch-level emulation cluster No. 2 includes 12 customs branches under five departments.

Thanh Thuy International Border Gate Customs Branch (Ha Giang Customs Department) and Huu Nghi Border Gate Customs Branch (Lang Son Customs Department) are appointed as the Head and Deputy head of the Branch-level emulation cluster No. 1, respectively.

Ta Lung International Border Gate Customs Branch, and Tay Trang International Border Gate Customs Branch are appointed as the Head and Deputy head of the Branch-level emulation cluster No. 2, respectively.

Representatives of leaders of five customs departments signed an emulation agreement with the spirit of "Solidarity - Discipline - Creativity - Innovation - Comprehensive Modernization", striving to implement emulation contents well and accomplish political tasks in 2023.

On February 3, the Minister of Finance signed the Decision to establish emulation clusters of departments and reward units under the Ministry of Finance. According to the Decision, the Customs sector has seven emulations of local customs departments.

The head of the emulation cluster is in charge of chairing and coordinating with the deputy head and leaders of units under the emulation cluster to implement regular emulation movements and thematic emulation movements in the Cluster.

Annually organizing the launch of emulation, preliminary review and evaluation of the efficiency of emulation movements of the units; selecting and honouring units that have made a great contribution in the emulation movements to propose to award "Emulation Flag of the Ministry", "Emulation Flag of the Government".

The emulation cluster No. 1 includes five Customs Departments of Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Ba Ria-Vung Tau and Long An.

The Emulation cluster No. 2 includes the Customs Departments of Lang Son, Lao Cai, Cao Bang, Dien Bien and Ha Giang. The Emulation cluster No.3 includes the Customs Departments of Hanoi, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh, and Ha Nam Ninh. The emulation cluster No. 4 includes the Customs Departments of Ha Tinh, Da Nang, Nghe An, Quang Binh, and Quang Tri. The Emulation cluster No. 5 includes the Customs Departments of Quang Ngai, Quang Nam, Can Tho, Tay Ninh, and Dak Lak. The Emulation cluster No. 6 includes the Customs Department of Thanh Hoa, Thua Thien Hue, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, and Gia Lai - Kon Tum. Finally, the Emulation cluster No.7 includes the Customs Departments of Binh Phuoc, Dong Thap, An Giang, Kien Giang and Ca Mau.
