Businesses benefit

The program "Facilitating and supporting businesses to comply with customs laws" was launched in 2021. More than anyone else, those who are in charge of import and export activities of enterprises understand the effectiveness of the program and Murata Manufacturing Vietnam Da Nang Co., Ltd. is one of the first participants in the program.

Sharing about the benefits that businesses enjoy when participating in this program, Ms. Dinh Thi Tham, Head of Import-Export Unit of Murata Manufacturing Vietnam Da Nang Co., Ltd. said that legitimate businesses want to comply with legal policies, but many new policies have been issued, and businesses have not fully understood them, leading to unintentional non-compliance with the law.

“Understanding new regulations and policy changes are very important for businesses to maintain compliance. Therefore, sharing, supporting, solving problems and providing information from the Customs is one of the important factors to help businesses maintain their good compliance with the law," said Ms. Tham.

The company has received support from Da Nang Customs, especially during the time when the company implemented the plan for a merger. Remembering the first few months of the year, the Head of Import-Export Division of Murata Manufacturing Vietnam Da Nang Co., Ltd. said: “There were many problems that we had to deal with when the company first merged. For example, what is the procedure for asset transfer? How to handle inventory? And the changes in customs clearance activities when the company made the change. Facing those problems, the company received a lot of coordination and support from the Customs Branch of Khanh Hoa - Lien Chieu Industrial Park as well as from Da Nang Customs Department.”

Thanks to the regular support of the Customs, the company completed the merger on schedule and did not allow errors in customs procedures, and stabilize production and business operations. According to Ms. Dinh Thi Tham, facilitating and supporting businesses to comply with customs laws has contributed to helping her company maintain stability and develop production and business.

Identifying the benefits when participating in the program, Vijachip Company is also one of the first participants in the program.

According to Mr. Dang Xuan Loc, Head of the Accounting Division of Vijachip Company, during customs procedures, the connection between Customs agency and the company is maintained regularly and effectively. The company is regularly provided with information on new customs legal documents and arising problems are also promptly solved by the Customs.

According to the Head of Accounting Division of Vijachip Company, shortening the time in each stage of procedures contributes to helping businesses increase their price advantages and competitiveness in the market.
