Da Nang Customs provides effective support methods for businesses

According to Da Nang Customs Department, in the first half of the year, the department has regularly disseminated tax regulations and policies to businesses.
The department and its customs branches have directly introduced, sent new documents via e-mail, updated on their websites and disseminated at conferences.
The department has focused on major issues related to businesses such as notices for customs brokers, receiving e-customs dossiers, permits and specialized inspection results, C/O certificate on the National Single Window Portal; launching the Vietnam Automated System for Seaport Customs Management and managing and using electronic seals in monitoring goods transported by containers.
In addition, the department has instructed procedures for granting an import permit for non-commercial purposes via the Online Public Service System; implemented the Project on reforming the model of quality inspection and food safety inspection for imports issued together with Decision 38/QD-TTg dated January 12, 2021.
The information provision has been regularly and effectively performed by the department, which supports customs and tax declaration and ensures smooth customs processes.
In the first half of 2022, the department has conducted 630 instructions on contents related to customs procedures, HS code, Tax policies and tax accounting; new policies amid Covid-19 pandemic prevention and control, submitting C/O due to the impact of the pandemic, tax policies for imports serving the Covid-19 prevention and control.
The guidance methods have been implemented in a various manners by the department such as direct instruction at the customs office, guidance via phone, notification on VNACCS/VCIS, rulings, and via conferences.
The effective support methods by the department have been highly appreciated by the business community. Notably, the department has developed the Program on facilitation, support and encouraging businesses to comply with customs laws. The department has provided compliance support information for six local large enterprises that have signed a Memorandum of Understanding by the Department.
Da Nang Customs Department has also cooperated with banks to implement e-tax payment and customs clearance 24/7, or launched e-tax payment services, creating favorable conditions for businesses and reducing tax payment time.
The department has strengthened the partnership and supported businesses promptly solving difficulties and problems in import and export activities.
