Customs continuously collaborated to seize 20 bars of heroin, 17,000 tablets of synthetic narcotics

VCN - In the morning of 13/6, through a discussion with Customs News reporters, leaders of the Anti-Drug Enforcement Team (Dien Bien Customs Department) confirmed that the unit had arrested two people transporting 20 bars of heroin, 17,000 tablets of synthetic narcotics.

Ly La was at investigation agency

On 12/6, in the area of Chieng Khuong village, Chieng Khuong commune, Song Ma district, Son La province, Son La police collaborated with Chieng Khuong border station, Son La border defense force and Customs forces including: Anti-Drug Enforcement Team and Customs Branch: Chieng Khuong and Son La border gates (Dien Bien Customs Department); Anti-Drug Enforcement Team in the North (Team 5, Anti-smuggling and Investigation Department, General Department of Vietnam Customs) discovered Ly La, who was born in 1992 (lives in Long Ku village, Vieng Say district, Hua Phan province, Laos) was carrying 20 bars of heroin and some other related evidence.

After an initial fight, Ly La claimed that he was hired to transport those heroin bars from Laos to Vietnam by an unknown man.

Earlier, on 11/6, the competent forces and coordinating force discovered and arrested Mua Thi Keo (was born in 1996 and lives Vieng Say district, Hua Phan province, Laos) while she was carrying around 17,000 synthetic drugs.

Currently, the competent forces are coordinating for investigation.
