As a priority enterprise with headquarters operating in Ha Nam area, how do you evaluate the Customs - Enterprise partnership?

Our company is currently headquartered in Dong Van III Industrial Zone (Duy Tien, Ha Nam) with the business of manufacturing, and assembling electronic computer equipment and other computer peripherals... Since June 2022, the General Department of Vietnam Customs has issued a decision to recognize our company as an Authorized Economic Operator (AEO).

We are very proud to receive the supportive decision from the General Department of Vietnam Customs. This demonstrates the company's efforts to be the first enterprise in Ha Nam province and the third enterprise to be recognized as an AEO enterprise by the Ha Nam Ninh Customs Department.

Receiving these incentives, we would like to thank the Customs authority for their care, guidance, support and encouragement for the company to comply with all regulations, conditions and policies in the field of customs to become an AEO enterprise. We clearly see that the Customs-Enterprise partnership has been built over time based on the strengths, capabilities and cooperation needs of the two parties in the implementation process over the past time.

In particular, the Ha Nam Customs Sub-department has guided and supported our company to comply with the regulations of the Vietnamese State. Always support and guide the company to access and update the latest information on import-export laws and new regulations of the Customs sector.

After being recognized as an AEO enterprise, the company has identified and focused on stricter control of import-export and raw materials at the factory to ensure efficient production and business.

Can you share your views on the reform efforts of the Customs agency in general and the Ha Nam Ninh Customs Department in particular?

Since investing and officially operating in Vietnam, we have witnessed the change process in the administrative reform of the Customs authority. The most obvious change is that the Customs Authority has deployed many information technology system applications into the management process, thereby contributing to reducing time and costs for the business community and for the business and production activities of export enterprises in Ha Nam province.

We highly appreciate the Electronic Customs, the improvement of specialized inspection procedures, and the strengthening of cooperation between relevant agencies, which have demonstrated the Customs authority's commitment to supporting a favorable business environment for our businesses to feel secure in production.

Through the working process, Ha Nam Customs has been greatly improved in recent years. A specific action is that in urgent times, Ha Nam Customs always arranges for officers and soldiers to work overtime even on holidays to help us clear goods in time.

The Customs side has also made great preparations and improvements in administrative reform and customs procedures. Through direct working sessions and exchanges, we have found that Ha Nam Customs is very proactive and wise in coming up with solutions to work with us.

Specifically, if there are any problems in the process of procedures, we always discuss them and receive enthusiastic answers from Ha Nam Customs. Even the customs officials clearly point out each regulation and detail so that we can understand and implement it immediately so that there are no more difficulties or obstacles in the next time.

We also highly appreciate the fact that the Ha Nam Ninh Customs Department annually organizes dialogue conferences for businesses to participate in learning, raising problems, and working together to solve them. In this aspect, as an export enterprise, we feel that the Customs authority has done and is doing a very good job. I would like to emphasize that these initiatives and reforms of the Customs authority have made an important contribution to creating a favorable business environment for businesses, while also improving the efficiency of customs operations in the management area of the Ha Nam Ninh Customs Department.

For Customs - Business relations to truly achieve maximum effectiveness, do you wish and expect the Customs agency to promote any specific support solutions for the business community in the coming time?

While the breakthrough in reform and facilitation by the Customs authority has greatly helped the business community to improve its competitiveness, I believe that there are still some challenges that need to be addressed to ensure a smoother flow of import-export goods.

Specifically, the overlap in specialized inspection, the lack of synchronization in procedures between state agencies, and the transparency and efficiency in handling procedures still need to be focused on by management agencies for further improvement.

In particular, our company is currently facing a few problems related to the import-export process of raw materials for production. At present, we are still closely cooperating and exchanging with Ha Nam Customs to solve the problems and find practical solutions. We believe that in the future, the Customs authority and Ha Nam Customs will help us solve this difficulty.

Currently, the relationship between our company and the Customs authority is one of cooperation, exchange, and mutual support. In the future, our company hopes to continuously help Ha Nam province increase tax revenue and create job opportunities for laborers. However, to achieve this desire, the Customs authority has been wholeheartedly creating favorable conditions to support our company. I believe that shortly, the two sides will continue to exchange and clarify outstanding issues. In particular, through participating in dialogue conferences, we will note the difficulties and solutions for other businesses to apply in our company. We hope that the Customs authority will continue to organize these exchange activities, as they are very useful.

To promote production, business and export activities in the coming time, we believe that with the accompaniment, sharing and facilitating for businesses, the Customs Authority will certainly always be a reliable partner of the business community. In addition, the company will continue to closely coordinate with all levels and sectors to implement customs regulations and relevant Vietnamese government regulations well throughout the operation process to uphold the four important values of the company: customer focus, integrity, innovation and sustainable development.
