Agility Logistics service provider has recently announced the list of 50 most attractive emerging logistics markets in the world in 2023. Accordingly, Vietnam ranked 10th out of 50 new logistics markets. In Southeast Asia, Vietnam is behind Malaysia, Indonesia and Thailand, ahead of the Philippines, Myanmar and Cambodia.

Compared to last year's ranking, this year, Vietnam upgraded 1 place to 10th.

Agility's ranking index is based on four criteria including: domestic logistics opportunities, international logistics opportunities, technology readiness index, and business principles.

However, besides the optimistic signals, Vietnam's logistics still has many limitations, which require a quick remedy. In particular, the role of the Customs sector in logistics development needs to be affirmed in a deeper and more sustainable direction.

To continue to identify limitations and difficulties and propose logistics development directions as well as affirm the role of the Customs industry in logistics development, Customs Magazine organized the seminar themed " Customs accompanies enterprises to develop logistics activities, improve the competitiveness of import and export goods".

The seminar will focus on discussing the main issues of the current status of logistics activities and barriers and limitations; Vietnam's policies for logistics development including: development and connection of transport infrastructure, ports, warehouses...; developing and connecting infrastructure in terms of operating technology, human training ,establishing a green ecosystem; especially new policies and the role of the Customs sector in accompanying businesses, facilitating trade and logistics development.
