According to Cao Bang Customs Department, in the first eight months of the year, January and February did not record CBU car imports. The imported CBU cars from January to August totaled 9,530.
Of which, May recorded the highest volume of imported cars with 3,335. In addition, two months with the volume of imported cars of 1,000 or more are April with 3,078 vehicles and June with 1,360 vehicles.
Three months with less than 1,000 imported cars include July, August and March with 679 cars, 633 cars and 445 cars respectively.
Particularly, imported CBU cars contributed VND1,963 billion, accounting for 89.63% of the total budget revenue of Cao Bang Customs Department in the first eight months of the year.
CBU cars imported from China through the land border gate in the northern border mainly went through procedures at Huu Nghi international border gate (Lang Son).
However, from the end of 2021, due to the influence of China's Covid-19 pandemic control policy, import and export through Huu Nghi border gate have encountered difficulties, so businesses moved the Ta Lung International border gate (Cao Bang).
