Cao Bang Customs Department has gathered feedback from local customs branches and proposed content on building the “green zone” – a Covid free zone at border gates to remove difficulties, promote agricultural product export, and remove congestion.
The key requirement in the establishment of the "green zone" is not to add administrative procedures for import and export activities, which are consistent with the regulations of the Government, the Prime Minister, ministries and government agencies and must be in harmony with China's Covid-19 prevention and control measures.
The plan for building a green zone includes contents such as the closed management of staff at the border gate; regularly performing a nucleic acid test (Covid-19 test); strict disinfection for imported and exported goods; freight forwarding plan and disinfection for vehicles carrying imports and exports.
The completion of the plan to build a "green zone" at Cao Bang border gates will expedite the customs clearance for imports and exports, increase budget revenue in the area, and contribute to creating jobs for people, and ensure social and border security.
