Appointing Deputy Director of Quang Binh Customs Department

VCN – On October, 30, Director General of Vietnam Customs Nguyen Van Can signed Decision No. 2789 appointing Tran Van Trang, Head of Division under Customs Reform and Modernisation Board (General Department of Vietnam Customs) to be Deputy Director of Quang Binh Customs Department from November 5.

On November 3, at Quang Binh, General Department of Vietnam Customs held a ceremony to announce the appointment decision for Tran Van Trang as Deputy Director of Quang Binh Customs Department.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Director General of Vietnam Customs Hoang Viet Cuong congratulated Quang Binh Customs Department because they had one more leader and Tan Van Bang was appointed to hold the position of Deputy Director.

Deputy Director General of Vietnam Customs Hoang Viet Cuong stressed that implementing the Resolution of the Political Bureau, decision of Excutive Committee of the Party Central Committee, the Ministry of Finance promulgated Resolution 94 on enhancing leadership rotation.

Implementing this resolution, in recent years, the Customs sector has developed a scheme on job rotation for customs officials. Thus, a number of customs officials have been rotated and appointed to local customs departments and vice versa.

Thereby, strengthening the contingent of staff, especially at the strategic level at the General Department of Vietnam Customs to local customs departments, strengthening the contingent of leaders at local customs departments, strengthening the contingent of customs officials at the strategic level for macro-policy formulation at the General Department level.

On the other hand, creating a mix and coordination between customs officials at the General Department level and the local customs departments, customs branches to perform well the task of advising, deployment and supervision closely to the real situation.

“Comrade Tran Van Trang received this honourable task, this was also an opportunity for him to personally get in touch with the reality of work at Quang Binh Customs Department. I suggested he should continue to study, practice, cultivate ethics, promote quality, experience and effectively implement at the unit. Besides that, materialising the views and directions of the Party, the Ministry of Finance and the General Department of Vietnam Customs to help the Party Committee and leaders of Quang Binh Customs Department continue to unite, lead and direct the unit to complete the assigned political tasks better,” Deputy Director General Hoang Viet Cuong emphasised.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Director of Quang Binh Customs Department Tran Van Trang pledged to fully abide by the regulations of Quang Binh province, General Department of Vietnam Customs, Quang Binh Customs Department and actively learn to improve his skills in customs operation, as well as leadership and management skills to effectively work.
