Allowing to take 800,000 doses of Vero Cell vaccine back for preservation

VCN - To ensure the quality of imported vaccines, the General Department of Vietnam Customs assigned Quang Ninh Customs Department to consider and process the shipment of 800,000 doses of Vero Cell vaccine for National Institute of Hygiene and Epidemiology (NIHE) to take for preservation.

Previously, NIHE proposed to take back the shipment of 800,000 doses of Vero Cell vaccine donated by the Government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in China for preservation at the vaccine warehouse.

In order to ensure the quality of imported vaccines, General Department of Vietnam Customs has assigned Quang Ninh Customs Department to consider and process the request of NIHE to allow them to take back the above vaccine shipment for preservation at the vaccine warehouse.

At the same time, requesting the customs declarant to preserve the status quo of goods at the storage location, be responsible for submitting the import license of the Ministry of Health and other documents in the customs dossier as prescribed within 30 days to clear the goods.
