72 customs public services integrated to National Public Service Portal

VCN- The General Department of Vietnam Customs (GDVC) has integrated 72 administrative procedures (online public services) to the National public service portal, ensuring the progress and quantity according to the Ministry of Finance’s direction.

On September 12, 2020, the Government Office issued Official Letter 7616 / VPCP-KSTT on integrations and provision of online public services on the National Public Service Portal, requesting online public service suppliers to strengthen inspections, urging and handling officers who have not strictly performed the online recieving and handling of dossiers, especially public services integrated withthe National Online Public Service Portal.

To implement the task, the General Department of Vietnam Customs (GDVC) issued an official document to direct local customs departments and the GDVC’s departments to strengthen inspections and assignments to promptly handle and return results of online public service dossiers.

At the same time, local customs departments should actively promote publicity about the integration of online customs public services into the National Public Service Portal.

Online Customs public services have been connected to the National Public Service Portal, such as procedures for cancelling customs declarations; procedures for goods brought in or out of the port of transit;procedures for goods traded by border gate transfer;procedures for the establishment of a checkpoint at a construction site, warehouse of construction site ormanufacturing site;procedures for classification of machinery and equipment in the form of completely built units and completely knocked down; procedures for classification of combined machines or combinations of machines under Chapters (84, 85, and 90) in the Vietnam export and import Classification Nomenclature;as well as procedures for inspection of goods before customs declaration.
