42 businesses owe nearly VND400 billion in tax at Lao Cai Customs

There are 42 businesses that owe taxes and penalties (as of January 2022) with a total amount of VND397.59 billion. Of which, many businesses owe large debts of up to several tens of billions of dong such as:
Lao Cai Mineral Exploitation & Processing JSC owes more than VND67.48 billion. Followed by Lan Anh Construction Co., Ltd. with more than VND56.2 billion, Thuy Linh Co., Ltd owes more than VND52.78 billion, Minh Duc Mining JSC owes more than VND52.75 billion, Hoang Lan Trading Ltd owes more than VND52 billion and Hung Yen Import-Export JSC owes more than VND47 billion.
Those that owe less than VND20 billion include: Development Ltd No. 1 with more than VND17 billion, Ngoc Son Co., Ltd owes more than VND14.7 billion, Kim Lien Trading Co., Ltd owes more than VND10.59 billion and Hoang Kim Agro-Forestry Import-Export Ltd owes more than VND9.6 billion.
Most of them have owed taxes for a long time and are being enforced by Lao Cai Customs Department.
Regarding the budget collection task in 2022, Lao Cai Customs Department was assigned a target of budget revenue of VND1,540 billion by the Ministry of Finance and VND1,800 by the Lao Cai provincial People's Council.

According to the latest information from Lao Cai Customs Department, from the beginning of the year to February 15, the department collected VND196.5 billion, up 4.2% year-on-year.
