VCN - According to the decision of General Department of Customs issed on 8th August, Ca Mau Seafood Producers and Services Company (CASES) and Can Tho Seafood Exporters Ltd. have just been recognized as Authorized Economic Operator (AEO).

Mr Nguyen Vu Phong, Head of Customs declaration of CASES, said that: “currently,the average export turn over of the company is $150 million USD per year. The company’s products are exported to many markets, largest markets include Australia, Korea, EU,…

CASES has 4 factories located in Ca Mau (2 factories), Kien Giang and Bac Lieu with more than 3.000 employees.

Mr. Le Thanh Tinh, Deputy of Sale Director of and Can Tho Seafood Exporters Ltd, stated that: “in the first 6 months of 2016, the export turn over of the company reached $17 millions USD. The main markets are Japan, USA, EU,…

Furthermore, currently, the company has only 1 factory in Tra Noc Industry (at Can Tho city) and 3 manufacturers with total employees of 450 people.

Therefore, there are 54 AEOs in Customs area. In the fisheries sector which has many big-name businesses such as Minh Phu, Soc Trang, An Giang (Agifist), Sao Ta (Soc Trang).
