About 20 enterprises operating import and export activities in Bac Ninh, Bac Giang and Thai Nguyen managed by Bac Ninh Customs Department have participated in the survey.

At the workshop, representatives of the Customs Reform and Modernization Board shared with businesses the content that the Customs has deployed to develop the Customs-Business partnership and considered a key and regular task performed at three levels of General Department, Department and Branch.

The Customs industry always takes the people and business-centric approach, promotes creativity, strives to overcome difficulties, and facilitate import and export activities. The Customs considers the level of satisfaction of businesses as a measure of quality and work efficiency, and businesses as reliable partners to balance management and service goals, creating favorable conditions for the business community to access support measures from the Customs, thereby raising businesses' awareness of compliance with the law and enhancing their responsibility of Customs officials in performing public duties.

After 10-year implementation, the development of Customs-Business partnership (since the promulgation of the first Decision on guiding the development of Customs-Business partnership and related parties under Decision 1005/QD-TCHQ dated March 31, 2014, now replaced by Decision 2736/QD-TCHQ dated September 19, 2018), the development of Customs-Business partnership has been implemented effectively, brought positive results and received attention and supported within the Customs and been highly appreciated by the business community and relevant parties.

The workshop opens an opportunity for the Customs and the business community to look back on the 10-year implementation to record achievement and review existing limitations in developing the Customs-Business partnership.
