VCN - On 18/7, at Cai Mep port (Ba Ria – Vung Tau), Risk Management Department – General Department of Vietnam Customs, C47 – Ministry of Public Security and Phu My port Customs Branch (Ba Ria – Vung Tau Customs Department) coordinated to inspect transit container and detected inside was full of used cabinet loudspeaker and amplifier.

Cai Mep Customs officers inspect the shipment

According to leaders of Phu My port Customs Branch, the above shipment arrived at Cai Mep port to carry transit procedures to Cambodia. The information in the dossiers showed that cargo was used a photocopier.

Customs authority use professional dog for inspection

After the goods landed at Cai Mep port, the transport enterprise has not opened customs declaration for transit procedures. However, due to there was information of violation in the shipment, competent forces have coordinated to inspect as prescribed. As a result, there were full used cabinet loudspeaker and amplifier.

Currently, all goods are counted and verified by the Customs authorities.
