Ready to deploy VASSCM at Tan Son Nhat International Airport

Leaders of enterprises are very concern about Automatic Customs Management System.

Evaluating on the preparation of warehouse enterprises, Mr. Do Thanh Quang, Manager of Tan Son Nhat International Airport Customs Branch, said that TCS has actively built infrastructure information technology with the implementation of automatic customs management system version 1.6 - which is the latest version of the software of the General Department of Vietnam Customs.

"Customs authority and TCS organized this conference to discuss and solve problems and obstacles in the implementation process as well as anticipate situations that could occur, for coming up with solutions and implementing effectively the VASSCM system.”

At the conference, representatives of the Customs authority specifically instructed on the operations, the process of implementing the system, and answered problems that have already occurred and might have occurred during the implementation. In addition, the parties also exchanged and agreed on the coordination content to facilitate the enterprises that come to fulfill procedures for receiving goods at the TCS warehouse.

Earlier, Tan Son Nhat International Airport Customs Branch also actively coordinated with Customs IT and Statistics Department (General Department of Vietnam Customs), FPT Information System Corporation to organize lots of conferences about training and deploying VASSCM for all customs officials in the unit, and for nearly 300 enterprises which are operating in the areas of warehousing, aviation services, airlines ...

With careful preparation, Tan Son Nhat Airport Customs Branch and TCS are ready to deploy. Those units are completing the final work to deploy at the aviation warehouse in the earliest time in order to facilitate the export and import activities, reduce time and cost of implementing procedures for customs declarants; improve business compliance, prevent commercial fraud, anti-smuggling and ensure national security.
